The following terms apply to the professional cleaning of specialty items and fabrics at iClean Dry Cleaners. By using our services, you agree to the conditions below and acknowledge any associated risks.

Curtain Care

• Curtains may shrink up to 3% during cleaning.

• Sunlight damage or aged fabric may result in weakening, fading, or tearing.

• Some stains may be permanent due to age or prior exposure.

• All matching items (e.g. sheer panels, tiebacks) should be cleaned together to maintain colour consistency.

Leather & Suede Garments

• While handled with care, leather and suede items may experience changes in colour or texture.

• Cleaning may reveal underlying issues such as poor tanning, dyeing, or adhesive quality.

• Items without care labels are processed at the customer’s own risk.

Wedding Dresses

• Decorative elements such as beads or sequins may loosen, shift, or detach.

• Natural fibres like silk and satin may react unpredictably during cleaning.

• Gowns lacking care labels will be cleaned with customer acknowledgement of the risks.

Furnishings (e.g. Rugs, Drapes, Cushions)

• Exposure to sunlight, humidity, or pollution may weaken fabric, causing holes or fading post-cleaning.

• Non-pre-shrunk materials may shrink during processing.

• These risks are inherent to cleaning aged or sun-exposed furnishings.

Garments Without Care Labels

• Items lacking care instructions will be cleaned based on professional judgment, but liability for damage, shrinkage, or colour change is waived.

• We recommend that all garments carry compliant care labels where possible.

Faux Suede & Microsuede

• Synthetic suede materials vary in construction and may react unpredictably.

• Cleaning may result in colour fading, textural change, or permanent visible damage.

• Outcomes are not guaranteed due to manufacturing inconsistencies.

Textiles Prone to Shrinkage

• Natural fibres such as wool, cotton, and linen are more likely to shrink.

• Shrinkage may still occur even with the use of professional equipment and techniques.

• Matching items should be cleaned together to prevent colour mismatch.

Aged Stains

• Long-standing stains may not respond to stain removal or may worsen in appearance.

• While we use advanced stain removal techniques, complete removal is not guaranteed.

• Some fabric texture or colour change may occur during the process.

Yellow Staining

• Yellow discolouration from age, oxidation, or exposure may be permanent.

• While we will suggest further treatments where appropriate, full removal is not guaranteed.

• The customer acknowledges this limitation.

Knitwear (Jumpers & Cardigans)

• Knitted items may stretch, shrink, or become misshapen during cleaning.

• Cleaning without a care label increases the risk of these issues.

• Such garments are processed with caution, and at the customer’s responsibility.
